Can't find a book or other material on our shelves? We can order it from another library through Interlibrary Loan (ILL), which is available to CPL patrons who have had a valid library card for at least 6 months and must be in good standing.
There are several ways to place an Interlibrary Loan Request:
- in person at the Library by filling out a request card
- from your account accessed through the Catalog
- email the Librarian and include the following information
- phone number
- CPL card number
- first and last name
- material format (book, compact disc, DVD, etc.)
- ISBN (if needed)
- author (if DVD, then put Unknown)
- title
- publisher and publication date (if needed)
- volume, number & pages (if an article)
- copyright date (if specific edition needed)
- subject (for books, in general)
- indication that you are willing to pay for fees if there are any charges
- fill in the form below
This service is free to Comfort Public Library patrons. TexShare patrons need to request ILL materials through their home library.
