Interlibrary Loan

Can't find a book or other material on our shelves? We can order it from another library through Interlibrary Loan (ILL), which is available to CPL patrons who have had a valid library card for at least 6 months and must be in good standing.

There are several ways to place an Interlibrary Loan Request:

  • in person at the Library by filling out a request card
  • from your account accessed through the Catalog
  • email the Librarian and include the following information
    • phone number
    • CPL card number
    • first and last name
    • material format (book, compact disc, DVD, etc.)
    • ISBN (if needed)
    • author (if DVD, then put Unknown)
    • title
    • publisher and publication date (if needed)
    • volume, number & pages (if an article)
    • copyright date (if specific edition needed)
    • subject (for books, in general)
    • indication that you are willing to pay for fees if there are any charges
  • fill in the form below

This service is free to Comfort Public Library patrons.  TexShare patrons need to request ILL materials through their home library.
