Book Barn Book Store
Not Barnes and Noble, just a noble barn. With an incredible selection of used books across a wide variety of genres, you’re bound to find something you’ll enjoy. Run by volunteers and friends of Comfort Public Library. All sales are by donation and 100% of proceeds go directly to the library! We’re open 10am-2pm every Saturday (later if busy or during community events).
The Backdoor Bookstore is now a part of the Book Barn and is operated by the Friends of the Comfort Public Library.
The Book Barn Book Store sells books donated to the Library that are not put into circulation. The book store is located at the corner of 7th and Main Street.

Of historic interest: the Book Barn was the home of the first volunteer fire department, which was established in 1912.
